Our Mission and Our Vision

WHAT WE BELIEVE:

ABOUT GOD:  We believe the Biblical doctrine of the Trinity.  That is, we believe that there is one true God, eternally existing in three co-equal persons:  God the Father, god the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

ABOUT MAN:  We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that through the disobedience of Adam, the entire race has fallen into sin.  The penalty for sin is eternal separation from God.  All mankind deserves this separation, for all have sinned and, therefore, are deserving of the wrath of God.

ABOUT SALVATION:  We believe that God the Son, Jesus Christ, came into this world to pay the penalty for the sin of man; that he was crucified for our sin and rose again on the third day.  All those who accept Christ as their personal Savior have eternal life.

ABOUT THE BIBLE:  We believe that the Bible is God’s inerrant Word.  Since it is God’s revelation to mankind it is completely true and trustworthy in every area.  The Bible is God’s totally reliable and all-sufficient guide for the Christian life.

WHO WE ARE:

Faith Bible Church is an Independent Bible Church

INDEPENDENT:  In keeping with the New Testament pattern and teaching concerning the local church we are not aligned with or under the authority of any denomination.  However, we do welcome and encourage fellowship with those churches and organizations who hold to the historic fundamentals of the Christian faith.

BIBLE: As God has revealed Himself to mankind through the Scriptures, it is the purpose and practice of Faith Bible Church to faithfully proclaim the Word of God in all that we do.  This commitment to the bible is reflected in the Sunday School, Worship Services, and the Mid-Week Prayer Service.

CHURCH: As a local body of believers we are joined together for three primary purposes:

  1.  To proclaim the message of salvation by grace through faith to those who are outside of the body of Christ.

  2. To encourage, equip, and assist believers as they seek to mature in the Christian life.

  3. To praise and glorify our Lord as we gather together to engage in corporate worship.
